Your donation helps support Memphis’ entrepreneurial ecosystem in a variety of ways: adopting a startup, supporting entrepreneurial programming,  or bringing powerful resources to our City. LaunchMemphis is a 501(c)3, so your contribution is tax-deductible.

Adopt a local startup
Adopt a startup and watch it grow and progress.  LaunchMemphis has selected four startups that it helped cultivate and launch into existence. Pick one (or 2 or 3) and watch the trials and tribulations of a startup company in Memphis.  Your donation benefits the work that LaunchMemphis provides to these startups and others


LaunchMemphis Programming Fund
Dollars donated here will go to all the programming and educational opportunities that we provide to entrepreneurs, businesses, non-profits, students, and Memphians in general.

  • Fall Entrepreneurial Circuit- intense 3 month schedule of events, workshops, and incubation ranging from business plan bootcamps and whiteboard sessions to youth innovation development and Ignite Memphis.
  • Spring Entrepreneurial Circuit- intense 3 month schedule of events, workshops, and incubation ranging from 48 Hour Launch and BarCamps to business plan bootcamps and core conversations.
  • Startup TV Memphis debuts Tuesday October 18th on the Library Channelshowcasing the Memphis entrepreneurial ecosystem and startup culture. Startup TV documents real Memphis entrepreneurs at varying stages of startup development as it follows these entrepreneurs along their journey to success. Startup TV gives entrepreneurship in Memphis a face, a place and a platform to encourage others to build businesses in our city.  10 episodes will air on the Library Channel over the next 6 months with advertising exposure for donors included.


LaunchMemphis Community Opportunity Fund
Dollars donated here will go to our efforts of opening space for entrepreneurship in the Memphis region. LaunchMemphis will seek out entrepreneurial opportunities that will bring powerful resources to the community.

  • JumpStart America- LaunchMemphis is currently working to recruit and retain JumpStart Inc to bring its entrepreneurial resources to the Memphis community from intense financial support to technical and programming assistance.  JumpStart has been endorsed by the Obama Administration and his Startup America Partnership.  Their proven model has raised hundreds of millions of dollars for 2nd tier cities such as Cleveland, Detroit, Minneapolis, etc.  LaunchMemphis has been the innovation brokers working with JumpStart, City Government, Shelby County Government, State Government, The Memphis Chamber, the entrepreneurial community and much more.  Contributed dollars would aid in underwriting this initiative plus denote your company/organization as a local stakeholder in this transformative initiative.  See attached letters of support.
  • Experiential Learning- LaunchMemphis is working with the University of Memphis’ University College to allow college undergraduate and graduate credit hours to be awarded for entrepreneurial real life education/experience.  Memphis will be leading the nation in facilitating higher education through the trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship.
